ABOUT

Anna Brynskov is a researcher and artist. Her PhD project is about refining careful yet empowering design approaches to digital futures. Her work is centred around intimacy, feelings, bodies, and social relations. These are studied through queer, crip, and cyberfeminist lenses and expressed as artistic and designerly interventions that figurate on various channels of communication (conferences, magazines, cinemas).

Her academic background includes a B.A. degree in Comparative Literature and an M.Sc. degree in Digital Design (Information Technology) from Aarhus University. Her artistic background includes diplomas from the film schools Station Next Aarhus (3 years) and Potemkin Film College (1 semester). Here, she specialized as film director. Finally, she studied electronic music composition and analogue photography at Engelsholm Højskole. Occassionally, she publishes poetry as an author.
